Adriana Creatore
(Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands)
Short bio
Adriana Creatore is professor at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. Her research, built upon the knowledge and expertise in low pressure plasma chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of thin films, now includes other deposition approaches, such atomic layer deposition (ALD). Currently, Adriana is focusing her research on thin films and interface engineering for next generation energy technologies.
Adriana Creatore received her MSc and PhD in Chemical Sciences from the University of Bari (Italy) in 1997 and 2001, respectively. She joined the Eindhoven University of Technology with a Marie Curie fellowship, Later she was awarded the VENI grant from The Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research (NWO) and became assistant professor in 2007, along with a fellowship in Sustainable Energy Technology. She is recipient of two NWO Aspasia grants for her scientific achievements and a NWO Athena award as role model for female researchers in beta disciplines in the Netherlands. Adriana is also principle scientist at the Eindhoven Institute for Renewable Energy Systems.
